Community Agreements

When you participate in our live sessions or in our virtual community, you agree to uphold our guidelines to create a welcoming inclusive space.

Part of my commitment is that all community studies are a space of collaboration and community—learning, sharing and offering. I see us gathering in these spaces as a circle where we sit in community and honor each other. The circle supports all its members, their unique experiences, points of view and processes.

It is my intention to hold space for the unknown, not yet known and a different possibility. As a community we honor the many ways of knowing, especially those that cannot be fully grasped, are not grounded in evidence-based proof and are difficult to articulate. Honoring the space of unknown, honors the space of learning, which continues to unfold along the path. Self-inquiry and critical thinking are encouraged and respected.

I understand that Yvonne is a guide, holding space for the group to explore the teachings of The Guides. I recognize these are not her teachings and that she is a Student of The Guides. She is not an expert on the teachings, region or doctrine.

I will practice restful listening and will be open to other people’s experiences and perspectives. I will speak from personal experience and will not assume everyone has the same experiences.

I will respect the space of the sacred circle. I will keep all shares confidential and private within the space and time they are being shared.

I will respect the time limits and consider how I take up space so that all voices can be heard.

I have read the above Community Agreements, and fully understand and agree to its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

By continuing to participate in the study group, you accept these agreements.
